Overview
Benowa State High School has a lively and innovative Drama Department. It has a strong presence in the local community and a reputation for outstanding performances. At this school we set the bar high and our students consistently achieve their best in a supportive and encouraging environment. Students have the opportunity to be involved in Drama Excellence activities in Year 7, 8 and 9 and may choose the Senior subject from Year 10 to Year 12.
Students are provided with numerous opportunities including Drama Festival, school musical, excursions to plays and performances and workshops with professional artists.Requirements
Students must show an aptitude for Drama. Complete the Excellence Program application and audition for placement.Who should apply?
Anyone who has a keen interest in drama combined with natural talent and passion. The Drama Excellence program will extend students’ knowledge and skills.
