Benowa High is recognised as one of the Gold Coast�s leading high schools. Academic standards and programs at the school have received recognition nationally and internationally.

Benowa is the home of French Immersion. This is a highly academic program that involves the teaching of Mathematics, French, Science and Study of Society and Environment through the medium of the French language. Established for over 20 years, this program of excellence attracts the top students from primary schools all over the Gold Coast.

Our music, drama and arts programs are regularly acclaimed for the outstanding quality of student performance. Benowa has been recognised as a School of Achievement in the Arts by Griffith University, Gold Coast City Council, Arts Queensland, Education Queensland and Bond University. We offer Music Excellence classes in Years 8 and 9.

Our sports program has produced many students who have competed at state, national, international and Olympic level. We have Sports Excellence Programs in Years 8 and 9.

Scholarships are awarded yearly to top primary students across Gold Coast City.

The Scholarship will be to the value of $400.00 which will be credited towards your school related expenditure.
